Attending Penn State for his undergraduate degree and The University of Memphis for his graduate degree Steve has a variety of experiences including residence life, student conduct, leadership development, and of course campus activities. Outside of work Steve is very actively involved regionally and nationally with Ultimate Frisbee playing, coaching, and serving as the Executive Director for DC's professional women's team the DC Shadow. Steve and his wife also run a Flower Farm called Little Walter's Flower Farm so if you're looking for fresh-cut flower bouquets let him know and he can bring one into the office for you.

Anna is a Catholic U alumnus from the Class of 2017. While attending CUA, she was involved in a variety of clubs, a member/coach of the Catholic University Dance Team, and worked in the Office of Campus Activities assisting student organizations! She received her Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2020. Anna is passionate about the holistic development of students and believes that being involved on campus is a great way to find and develop your authentic self. She is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, a Swiftie,  loves to watch movies (except horror), and enjoys traveling (ask her about her CUA Rome Abroad Experience)!.

Maria Cuadra is passionate about supporting first-generation students at Catholic University through the Take Flight program. In her role, she works closely with students to help them feel confident in their academic journey, connect them with campus resources, and ensure they feel seen and supported by faculty, staff, and campus partners. Above all, Maria is committed to creating a welcoming and trusting community where first-generation students can thrive together. As Assistant Director, Maria is committed to helping students grow both academically and professionally, while also supporting their emotional development. She serves as a trusted resource for students, staff, and faculty. Maria is also deeply dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where every student feels valued, heard, and empowered to succeed. Maria is a Cleveland, Ohio native with a bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Family Studies from Miami University (OH) and a master's degree (M.Ed.) in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Arizona State University. She is passionate about community education and making higher education more accessible and attainable to all. Maria is also a devoted member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a dog mom to a rescue pitbull named Claire.
